What should I check before a weekday trip?
A practical checklist for a smoother morning parking, shuttle, and train connection.
The night before
Verify the date, parking confirmation, vehicle details, shuttle seat count, boarding location, and return plan. Check your train route through BART’s own trip planner. If food was requested, verify that a partner accepted the order; a preference in a trip request is not a meal confirmation.
The morning of travel
Check current traffic and any service alerts. Bring your confirmation and allow time to park, collect belongings, reach the shuttle, and walk into the station. If you are delayed, notify the operator as early as possible. A planned shuttle departure should not be assumed to wait indefinitely for one car.
Keep the return-trip checklist handy for the evening.
