Count people, not vehicles
Yes. Request one shuttle seat for each person who plans to ride. A car with two commuters needs two seats even though it occupies one parking space. This lets the operator compare the passenger total with the vehicle’s actual passenger capacity.
A vehicle’s advertised seat count may include the driver and may not reflect the number of passenger seats available for a particular trip. The operator must confirm the assigned vehicle and seats for the departure. Do not rely on an unconfirmed seat count or assume that a later shuttle will have room.
