A scheduled connection, not an on-demand ride
The BWOOPS model pairs a confirmed parking space with a reserved shuttle seat between the off-site lot and West Oakland BART. The purpose is to make the first mile predictable. Actual departures, vehicle capacity, boarding points, and operating dates must be published and confirmed before riders rely on them.
Tell us how many people are in your vehicle: forty occupied stalls do not mean forty shuttle riders. A two-person car needs two seats. Likewise, one shuttle vehicle cannot serve every arrival at once; loading time and the return drive affect capacity.
Use the trip planner to provide a preferred outbound and return window, then look for a confirmation that states both legs clearly.
